A little bit about myself....
I am an artist and a designer who has lived in England,
Ireland and Germany.
I worked as a designer in the textile print industry for
many years and have won awards for my work.
My paintings have been been exhibited in:
Tourist Information Ediger-Eller, Rhineland Pfalz, Germany.
SOFA (Society of Feline Artists) Exhibition 2012 and 2013,
Llewellyn Alexander Gallery London.
Bentlif Art Exhibition, Maidstone Kent.
‘Not The Royal Academy’ Exhibition 2013 and 2014, Llewellyn
Alexander Gallery London.
‘Active Artists’ weekend 2014, Saint Andrew’s Arts Centre,
Gravesend.
I am an associate member of SOFA (Society of Feline
Artists).
This photo was taken by my husband as a publicity shot for
the Ediger-Eller exhibition. I decided not to risk a new
one for this website - not just yet….. The trouble with
using your own digital camera and your own husband as
photographer (especially when he would rather be doing
something else - though he will swear this is not true....)
- is that there is too much room for improvement.
'I don't like that photo,' says I.
'What's wrong with it,' says H.
'I look too fat and the light's all wrong,' (which I am and
it was).
'No it's NOT, it's FINE....' sigheth he in an exaggerated
theatrical manner.
'Take another one then will ye........'
This goes on for a good half an hour and what would be
three rolls of film in olden days.
Sold the painting though!
